anyways huh wowee geez how come you never see the hero soma and the villain lesion in the same place????

Soma: Mind-related powers, psychic, telekinetic, telepathic, etc, can change up his own metabolism and proteins and stuff to heal quicker, run faster, be stronger, etc (though he can’t heal fatal stuff or outdo heroes with strength or speed or whatever as their main power)

Lesion: Body-related powers, skin, flesh, bone, muscle, keratin, etc, basically just has “akira-style body horror” type powers

him and soma were originally one person, but the method that one person got his powers caused his “worse” traits (lesion) and “better” traits (soma) to split into two. 

lesion is bitter, angry, begrudging, but he’s also bolder and more willing to get his hands dirty. due to his disgust at himself due to having bodily horrific powers (flesh, bone, muscle, etc - soma got all the mental stuff) he comes off as a villain due to how he looks and how he acts

Kamon has two sides to him, due to accidentally becoming exposed to dangerous, unstable chemicals that split up his good and bad qualities. Mostly. Both still have their own bad and good. And eventually they start to work together and become whole again at least! Soma - Heroic, psychic and internal powers, smart, anxious, too trusting Lesion - Hard to control, physical and external powers, wild, braver, bold (get it. batman), etc Once they start working together and becoming one solid mindset again, Kamon starts improving his life and stuff idk it sounds like a really bad DID allegory but i swear it's not it's just his powers being really unstable at first thanks to how they came to be its more like a weird version of the hulk than anything

Kamon Zhang, born from a Thai mother and Chinese father

used to be just an average fanboy-like kid that's also really into studying biology to try and figure out how powers happen 

 he ended up being shoved into a vat of some experimental goo that made him change a Lot 

he gained powers mainly focusing on mental and external stuff, like psychic abilities, shifting up his metabolism and chemicals in his body to do better, etc - as a hero he uses the name "Soma" 

BUT it also gave him a monstrous alter ego (like the hulk but more horrific) that has powers focusing on physical and external things, such as manipulating the makeup of his body and bones and flesh and blood and stuff, going by the name “Lesion”

might toss him into Extranormal since that’s a superhero story thing i desperately need to do shit with
