"For the record, I think this is stupid."
Neil capped the lipstick with clumsy hands, accidentally shaving off a little bit with the edge of the cap. He giggled and wiped his hand on his pants carelessly. It was going to leave a stain.
"I know," he said, lips twisted up in a carefree, tipsy smile. "You already said. Now here, Kevin first."
Andrew fought down the urge to sigh. Then he sighed anyway and rolled his eyes for good measure. Put-upon. Kevin, the bastard, saw right through him and smirked.
"So pretty," Kevin said, bold and unfiltered the way he got when he had anything that wasn't vodka. He reached out with this thumb as if to touch Andrew's lip, then seemed to think better of it and let his hand drop lightly to rest on Andrew's thigh, closer to his knee. Andrew knew he'd keep it there, so he leaned in closer, face to face on their stools, and after the usual brief pause, pressed his lips to the corner of Kevin's mouth.
"Gross," Andrew muttered, sounding impossibly fond even to his own ears, pulling away to inspect his handy work. There, on Kevin's flawless skin, was a perfect, bright red lipstick kiss.
Neil giggled again and tugged lightly on Andrew's short sleeve. "Do me."
Andrew's heart skipped a beat for some insane reason, because apparently he was still not immune to Neil even after 2 years of exposure, especially when he got like this. Andrew never should have encouraged him to drink. He brought this on himself.
"Come closer," Andrew said, and Neil obediently stood next to Andrew's stool. Andrew held his face with one hand, tilted it back, and pressed a kiss to the hollow of his throat. Then he tilted Neil's head forward again and did the same to the scar on his cheek. With every press of his lips, Neil sighed. Andrew nipped at his jaw in warning.
"Okay, I wanna do it now," Neil said, standing between them, and before he could uncap the lipstick again, Andrew pulled at the neck of his hoodie to get his attention. He took the lipstick from Neil and applied it to himself quickly, then dropped it on the counter.
"Use mine," Andrew said, and felt silent satisfaction at the way Neil shivered and leaned in once he understood.
Neil's lips were as warm and soft as ever, and Andrew had to fight not to get distracted from his purpose. He made sure to coat Neil's lips as best as he could. He pulled back to make sure he'd succeeded, then pressed a kiss to Neil's neck just because he could. It was fainter now that he'd transferred most of the lipstick to Neil, but it worked.
Neil smiled a rare sweet smile at him that Andrew would be thinking about for weeks, then turned to Kevin and grabbed his head by the sides and left three hard kisses on his face: one on his cheek, right below his tattoo, another on his chin, and the last on his jaw.
"How do I look?" Kevin asked, tilting his head back and exposing his neck once Neil pulled away.
"Ridiculous," Andrew said. "Don't move."
In the time it took him to go into his room to get the camera, Neil and Kevin had decided to make out messily, smudging lipstick around each other's mouths, and Neil had a new mark on his forehead.
Andrew rolled his eyes again. "I literally said don't move."
Kevin and Neil broke away with a pleased smile and turned to look at Andrew in almost perfect sync. Andrew got closer and pointed the camera at them.
"Let's get this over with, Renee promised the pot for putting these up at the Court was good."
He ignored Kevin's and Neil's twin knowing smirks when he snapped two of each.
