Aside from the weather conditions suddenly taking a turn for the freezing, Ayano had been settling in just fine in the city of Fuyuki. While she missed home and worried about her friends and family every day, she could be content with the fact that they were safe. Hopefully they had taken her letters to heart, as not only did she leave a general letter, but also a private letter for everyone. "I'm sure they're okay," it was a sort of chant she'd say, in order to reassure herself that her decision wasn't wrong.
Besides, she had made sure to leave someone she could count on to keep everyone safe-Ayano stopped in her tracks, blinking once, then twice, before marching over to he who should have stayed home.
"And what are you doing here!? I thought I told you to stay home and let your Nee-chan take care of things! Whose going to take care of everyone while I'm gone, while you're gone?" You'd think a reunion would be less---lecture-like.
"I left you at home to be in charge because I know how capable you are, so why did you come here too?" She blinked, her lecture-mode simmering as she realized the implications of his appearance, "Don't tell me... you didn't! Please don't tell me you joined the War too!!"
