X-Men Red #17 features The World
Completion, Manifestation, Victory
The final page of the penultimate issue of X-Men Red (2022) features Storm posing as the Goddess figure of the World card. Legs crossed, arms out, and framed by the eye of the monster Kaorak mimicking the card’s green reef. After an incredible ritual combining the symbolism of her four allies (Apocalypse, Orc, Sunfire and Vulcan) Storm brings the island giant to life and guides him into her final battle against Genesis for the fate of Arakko. The four cornered creatures of the card are known as the Tetramorph, and like her four allies, each represent one of the classical elements: Fire, Water, Earth and Air.
Behold Kaorak.
