Kappa-class shuttles were a type of small transport used during the time of the Republic. Rather simplistic in their design and function, the Grand Army of the Republic used Kappas often, and many cruisers were loaded with a handful of the shuttles aboard. Later shuttle models (such as the Imperial Lambda) would adopt much of the Kappa’s design.
