I see a parallel between KarmaGisa and KaraIri. I think it's the most prominent during the island arc.

Karma and Karasuma are soldiers/warriors, while Nagisa and Irina are assassins.

As warriors, both Karma and Karasuma have more superior physical strength and fighting skills, as repeatedly noted by various characters. During his fight with Grip, Karma even copied Karasuma's fighting style that he learned by observing him during practices.

As assassins, Nagisa and Irina are more sneaky and tricky. During the Island arc we see Irina seducing several men. In the same arc, Nagisa was forced to dress as a girl and managed to attract a guy, becoming his own version of "honey trap" (which is even mentioned by Isogai). Nagisa even used similar kissing technique that Irina had used on him before on Kayano.

(Plus, Nagisa vs Karma fight in the civil war kind of reminds me of Irina's attempt to "assassinate" Karasuma to prove herself to her master, in that Karma/Karasuma seemed to have the upper hand but it ended with them admitting defeat to Nagisa/Irina)

the last episode is my fucking roman empire. literally i woke up the next day feeling genuine depression at the fact that the octopus teacher dude, was, in fact, killed by his cherished students.

roman fucking empire is the last roll call. i hadn't cried to a show like the way i cried to assclass in such a long time 😕

Well, at least Koro gets to have something for Valentine’s Day. Can’t say the same about Okajima though 😗
