So Bucky liked his privacy. There was no denying that.
Maybe there had been a time he liked to go out to the dance halls and flirt with anything that moved, like to drink and to party and made friends as easy as breathing. But now he was definitely a solitary guy.
And okay, maybe that was because he had half the world on his ass, looking for him still, even though he was harmless now and even though all his triggers had been bypassed. Stick on a pair of Steve’s nerd glasses, dark wash jeans and a henley and he was good to go.
She went for coffee before her “job” at the hospital. He went exactly ten minutes before her and “accidentally” bumped into her with his drink, spilling a bit on her scrubs. “Oh my gosh, I am so sorry,” he apologized, easily affecting a slight Australian accent- like he had been gone long enough for it to slip a bit. “Let me buy your drink. Least I can do.”
