Nori Ross grew up as an only child in a small suburban house, alongside his parents, and their beloved cat Nella. From an early age he discovered his love and passion for art. He’d draw anything and everything, anytime. As soon as he woke up he’d grab a pencil and paper and quickly sketch out the big blue dragon he’d encountered in his dreams, making it come alive on the paper. His parents always encouraged him with the things he loved, and they proudly hung up his childishly messy drawings onto the walls.
In school, Nori was a loner. His classmates didn’t acknowledge him, talk to him, or even look at him. He usually didn’t mind, since the few social experiences he’d had weren’t that pleasant. Social anxiety was something that affected his daily life a lot, especially in school. But even through the constant stress and uneasiness he’d find comfort in his creative mind that would take him to the places he dreamed of.
As he grew older his drawings changed from scribbled monsters with mouths full of long sharp teeth, to intricate depictions of love and longing. The easels in front of him poured out emotions and feelings left unsaid, buried deep within himself.
Nori went to a prestigious art university, where, for the first time, he found himself in a place where he truly felt accepted. No one judged him, and he had something in common with everyone there, the love for art. He found friendships he’d never dared to dream of. Being surrounded by likeminded people helped him conquer his inner demons, and his future dreams that had once seemed so far away was now waiting just around the corner.
After university he went to pursue a career as an artist. His paintings has gotten featured in many local art exhibitions, as well as a few bigger more well known ones. Critics has continuously praised him for his ability to capture emotions so strongly, with just a few strokes of his brush onto the canvas.
Still, within the walls of his murky apartment, the loneliness he’s felt since his childhood remains. The few relationships he’s had always ended before it got any serious, leaving him with a growing feeling of solitude. Now he’s hoping Francisca will be the one to join him in this life, and bring him endless inspiration to continue aspiring his dreams.

Some facts about him:
- Uses very figurative language when speaking. A lot of metaphors and sophisticated descriptions.
- He enjoys painting live models, especially when practicing female anatomy ;)
- He loves his daily Starbucks!
- The closest he’s ever been to someone is with Nella, his cat.
- His home is a total mess, but he has no trouble finding his things and knows exactly where they are.
- Loves cliche pickup lines and jokes.
- Even though he’s not always very good with words, he’s good at communicating through his paintings.
- Nighttime is when he’s always the most inspired.

His story hits close to home for me, and I just got really emotional while writing it hAH who would’ve thought making an entry for a challenge would make me feel fEeLinGs
He’s so precious to me, and if Francisca doesn’t want him then I’ll gladly take him :)
