Raised by his single mother until he was four. That’s when she met his step father.
When his step dad adopted him, his name became Jake Jacobs. Typically, he goes by JJ.
Has two younger sibling, both still in high school.
Recruited as a starting pitcher to a pro baseball team right out of college.
Not sure what he’ll do when it comes time to retire, but he did graduate with a business degree. Maybe he can put that to good use.
He’s started growing out a beard after he got tired of everyone thinking he was sixteen.
Had a high school sweetheart but they broke up a couple years after the graduated. A few small relationships followed but nothing ever too serious. Since joining the team, he’s been more focused on doing his best and less focused on dating. Though he admit it’s been pretty lonely as late and ready to possibly find someone to fall in love with.
Huge fan of mystery novels and true crime stories.
Enjoys just about anything that will get in outdoors and into the sunshine.
Guilty pleasure food is pizza.. even more guilty pleasure is that pineapple is a must.
Biggest downfall: he’s a bit of a slob. Damp towel left of the bathroom floor, shoes kicked off next to the door, dirty clothes hanging half in the hamper.
