1. favourite place in your country? 

Oh, that’s hard to choose - my favourite place to live is something else than my favourite holiday place, just to start … But I’ll go with the latter for now :). It’s Spiekeroog, one of the East Friesian islands, and it’s a wonderful place. It’s such a peaceful little island, and I just love the sea.

10. most enjoyable swear word in your native language? 

I’m from the Swabian region, and my favourite swear word is “Grasdackel” - it would roughly translate to “grass Wiener dog” and is used to call someone an idiot XD. The Swabian dialect has a lot of excellent swear words/insults!

21. if you could send two things from your country into space, what would they be? 

Oh, uhm ... I have no idea. At first I thought about art, literature or music but maybe it’s more important to preserve our history, so a piece of the Berlin wall and something from a concentration camp, to show both of our best and our worst side. Woah, this is really hard :/.

28. Do any ‘real life’ people know about your fitblr?

Yes - shoutout to @laurenia :). A few others know that I have one but I don’t think anyone else is following me on here.

34. What do you eat for breakfast? 

During the week, I’m very boring - it’s always Quark (curd) and yoghurt, muesli and fruit, only varying the fruit sometimes (mostly apples and bananas but in the summer also fresh berries, etc.) and the muesli. On the weekend, I take a bit more time and have some variation, like making oatmeal or getting fresh rolls from the bakery on Saturdays, and some grilled bread and eggs on Sundays.

39. What bad habit are you most glad you broke? 

I admit I’m not sure I’ve really “broken” my bad habits so far, it’s more that I’m managing not to fall back into them right now, but they’re still there (lurking ... waiting ...).

But I’m happiest about having rediscovered my joy of movement - I never was “sporty”/fit, and I remember PE with as much horror as anyone does who was an overweight teenager but I was always fairly active (walking and cycling a lot) and belonged to one sports club or the other while at school. Letting go of that during university and the first few years in the workforce was probably one of my worst “habits”, and I’m so glad I have found back to enjoying what I can do with my body.

23. What would be your ideal way to spend your weekend? 

Probably depends on how much I feel like socialising or just vegging out ... Necessary ingredients are a lazy breakfast, some sun (if possible), some exercise and something creative!

29. What are you interested in that most people haven’t heard of? 

Well, I’m hoping most people have heard of handspinning but it’s still pretty obscure XD. I also think most people don’t know much about Japanese 90′s boybands 😜.

39. What’s something so many people are obsessed with and you just don’t understand why? 

Reality TV and celebrity culture like the Kardashians and stuff like that 🙄.

Seeing so many vibrant and lovely people form a community! And seeing how knowing that this community is there can help someone when they’re struggling with their sexual and gender identity.

And on a personal level: How it has helped me to connect with and support my sibling lately!

(Und ging mir genauso, als ich Nina ein Ask geschickt hab, vor allem, weil die Dinger im Computer so anders aussehen als auf dem Handy XD.)

Hm, not having to go back to work next week :p? Someone who makes me dinner so I don’t have to? Some company would be nice, too :).
