Oh Man! Where shall I even begin!
So, I started reading this book last night (18th September 2020) at around 11:30 PM and I finished the book today, 19th September at 6:00 PM.
You see the duration it took me to finish the book? Yes! I finished it in a jiffy. I couldn't put the book down till it was finished. I was hooked! I was in love! Do I need to mention that I read through the night and sleep deprived myself. *Grins foolishly*
From the very first page I knew that this book is going to haunt me for numerous days!
This book is definitely a journey, a frightening journey which no human would want to ever experience. I felt the horror, the emotions, the love, the torture, every chapter threw at my face. I embraced the pain, suffered through it. I cried, I cooed and I cried some more. It was exhausting and exhilarating at the same time!
Exhausting because I wanted the pain, the terror, the sorrow to end!
Exhilarating because I was engrossed, engulfed by the turn of events!
This book is not for the light hearted. I couldn't contain my emotions, my heart crumbled after the journey ended..
Do I regret reading it? Absolutely not! Given a chance I would read it again. I would wanna be a part of the journey again! I would gladly embrace the fear and let it go once the story ends and later reminiscence about them.
This book is haunting! But I would love to be haunted again!
