A totem depicting a Kowari, handmade from polymer clay and painted with acrylics.  The Kowari looks like a mouse, but it's not closely related to any rodent. The kowari, Dasyuroides byrnei, is a carnivorous marsupial from the gibber deserts of central Australia. The kowari is also called the brush-tailed marsupial rat, bushy-tailed marsupial rat, kawiri, Kariri, Kayer rat, Byrne's crest-tailed marsupial rat.

Finally assigned to their platoon, they meet their leader Miruru and fellow members Xero and Kimama. Oh and then there’s Kariri (for some reason)

First impressions are tough but once they get past their new leader’s seemingly harsh facade they find themselves openly accepted as part of the team (much to Shiroro’s relief)

Over the years they become a well established platoon.
