So the shitter squad extended universe timeline goes:

Once, there was Overhaul and Hawks, a blossoming romance that lasted fleetingly between two warring sides. But it wasn’t meant to be, torn hearts finding love in either places. 

Hawks moved on to an older love, a wiser love, the retired All Might the perfect place to rest his wary wings. As Overhaul moved on to find a deep and passionate romance with Principal Nezu. Secret at first but as their love grew too strong, they eloped to Hawaii, disappearing under mysterious circumstances.

But not before Overhaul and Hawks could brush once again, long withheld feelings admitted under the moonlight before long lost lovers parted ways again.

All this time, Hawks and All Might’s love blossomed, gentle and caressing worn hearts. though unbeknownst to Hawks, All Might’s love was split. His relationship with Aizawa blooming in the background. And soon All Might realised his love was torn in two directions- did he truly love Aizawa? Or has his heart always belonged to Hawks in secret?

And will Hawks ever be able to get Endeavor to admit that his feelings are true? Or will he be lost to the void of denial for all time?

        His response was expected -- dismissive and cold.  Normally, he’d be annoyed... but he finds a sick sort of amusement from Kai’s overall composition and the fact that he seemed to bother him greatly; get under the Yakuza boss’ skin like the pest he was known to be by HERO SCUM. 

          “Awww... now, is that any way to treat a friend?  I thought we were on good terms.” 

                 The amusement was hard to hide, holding back his smirk the words come out in a sarcastic and playful sort of tone.  

                         “We shared secrets... didn’t that mean anything to you? And all I did was ask for sushi... damn.  What’s a guy gotta do to get a meal.”

              a hand reaches out; he’s all slow, practiced movements when it comes to kai. he knows what lies beneath the surface of the scraps of confidence that remain on the old yakuza captain – now so stripped of anything that resembles power or strength. no, all for one knew all too well how to handle a man like this. the touch is comforting but firm; a weight to anchor him in place, as thumb swipes gently along his skin to clear it of moisture. his palm cup his jaw for a lingering moment, and the shroud over his eyes turns slightly, revealing where his gaze falls to that open, oozing, gaping wound of rotting flesh and jagged, horrific teeth. and yet his hand lingers.

               ‘ you know, i could fix that for you, chisaki. just like i can fix your arms. just give me the word and i’ll make you better than ever – give you back the power you once had. ’

Bending over slightly, He places a hot cup of green tea on his desk. A kind gesture to show him how much he appreciates his work. He takes a step back away from the desk before saying, 

      “ I made you some tea. Thought you could use some. ”

How long has Overhaul even been sitting down for? Surely he was the least bit thirsty. Plus the small amount of caffeine in the tea could give him a boost of needed energy.
