“way to read me, detective.” with customary agitation aside, shino proved quite kittenish for a snake. had he not been so into it, maybe atsuhiro would be taken aback. instead it was he who was charmed, lured in by suggestions of a good time, fed by his own furtive desires. this was stupid, but even he was allowed to play the fool. his mask is removed, rich brown meeting amber. peering into those windows, he saw a spark of black—a certain kind of hunger that matched his own. “i’m sure the benefit would be mutual. you’re itching to nip and bite and drag those pretty pearls against my skin, aren’t you? it’s how you get your fix. don’t be modest about it.”
