Karkador, P-Model (1985)
Karkador distils the second phase of P-Model (in which I tend to include Potpourri, Perspective and Another Game) to near-perfection: shamanic industrialism, cold synthesised sound sheets, indifferent magnetism, this time with greater pop impetus and bolder orchestral flourish. I’m tired of crowning P-Model releases ‘essential’, but this is also indispensable.
