So I've talked about how I'm working on an RPG maker game and I guess I could post some screenshots, lol. It's more of an interactive story than a game. There will totally be turn based RPG maker fighting, but the majority of fights won't be physical, they'll be social conflict, so I made skills like "debate," "organize thoughts," or "defiant stare." Ideally, how you solve these conflicts will effect dialogue and possibly plot you get later in the game. It's a firm narrative, so some things are written in stone, but I'm playing with the idea of having the player influence parts I don't intend on coming back to, like the futures of characters I'm not exploring.
Anyway, it's about a little mushroom guy named Maakel (e/im/iz) who is stranded in a community of bat-like people that don't understand im. Maakel's pain and compassion will send im and iz friend KB, a Karoon (hermit crab person) to the mysterious island across the tentacle sea. There they will save another outsider and leave together to find their place in the world.
