Karumba, on my travels.
This is a shallow flood branch of the Norman River, behind the van park where I'm camped. The surface is caked and split mud, crunchy to walk on, and is hard enough to go 4WD driving. At sunrise, the birdsong is glorious, although the only life seen is either wallabies (in the lower pic) or hawks.
