Terrain paints: Plush grass and Petal fall

Plush grass was the first grass set I did for the Sims 4. Shortly after completing it I started on the petal fall version of plush grass.

Until a recent project made me decide to upload it, I hadn’t really considered doing so. But here it is

Plush grass comes in 3 sets. Each set is a different hue of green. There are 12 total paints in each grass set. Included in the set aside from the petal colors, are 3 degrees of shade. Light shade is best used for small shaded areas, like underneath flowers or the very edges of tree shadows. Intense shade is best when blended out between light shadow and dark shadow. I use it for the mid area under big trees.

Dark shadow is best used at the heart of the shadow range of big trees or areas that are covered from the sun at all times. I also really love to use the dark shades on the edges of pools or areas where there is a lot of water spilled.

The shades are meant to be blended with each other and the normal grass texture. Of course this is just a suggestion, you can use them however you please.

*NOTE* Please be aware before downloading that this is a merged package. I am sorry if this is inconvenient to anyone who wanted just one paint or set. Like I said above I had never intended to upload it originally so I didn’t keep the separated versions of these paints. If it is requested enough I will manually split them up.

Grass set 1 is a nice emeraldy green grass that looks well hydrated and cared for.

Grass set 2 is a very dehydrated looking grass with a lot of yellow hue in it.

Grass set 3 is almost  middle ground between  1 and 2. It has a bit of yellow tint to it, but does not look as dry as 2. It looks more like a lighter version of 1.

Spring Sim Challenge

Here are both of my @karzalee’s medieval top recolors for my Tyrion. He wore both of these in his Meereen scenes. I’m working on fixing that bottom hem so that it matches the sleeve colors. Also the bottom part has a huge solid colored line like that because I had an issue with the original mesh stretching out the texture. I also decided to leave the buttons on the yellow top the same as on the blue top I previously made, because the ones of the yellow top in the original picture were too blurry, so I couldn’t duplicate them properly. 

I also haven’t uploaded these for download, because they are really my first semi-decent recolors ever and idk if people would be interested as Game of Thrones isn’t that popular in the sims community :P. Let me know if you want to use them and I can upload them for you privately.
