OKAY. I was just thinking about this,but Kudo looked through Izuku's memories,and he cleary saw that Kacchan was a very important and influential person in Izuku's life,which Izuku has said himself
,but I've been thinking,did he see Izuku's full thought process here?
And so,did Kudo realize that every interaction he has with Kacchan is the world to Izuku? And is that why he brought up something that was obviously a common occurrence between the two,because whenever that happened,it meant so much to him?
(I'd love to mention the fact he uses "air quotes" ,like,he knows their bond and feelings go deeper than childhood friends,bro,he has a gaydar) Another thing: in the whole scene,he's showing memories of All Might,and in the potluck(?) scene Izuku's thinking of U.A,All Might,and Kacchan,just like now. So,like,we're going to see what he was saying right,guys? We may even get a flashback to to letter he sent to Kacchan??? Okay,I'm reaching with that one,but still,that's what I want.
