This was problematic. A man was capable of defying the flow of time, and from what Aeon could see, his intentions towards the use of that power were not altruistic. With his playing around Time could collapse if not be distorted permanently in that world. A confrontation would need to be had. It would be best done in a Time Rift, where Aeon could act freely.

((Afraid: Shanoa when angry. Ha ha, okay in all seriousness, my interpretation of Albus is less afraid of certain demigods and immortals and more afraid of them cutting him down before he can finish the big goal he’s set for himself. So in that, super powerful characters like Saiki, Kane, Destiny, and all others he interacts with that are supremely strong and damn-near-unkillable (which number in the many now that I think on it) do cause him a fair amount of concern. As such, he does try his best to lend his respect to these beings, both out of courtesy and a minor note of ‘oh please don’t kill me I have someone special I have to save’. Complicated? Yeah, it kind of is.

Sure, with the right temperament and control methods in place there are ways to contain volatile powers, but the slightest slip can result in fatalities. Despite his desperation to bear such a power in the place of another, he still insists on labouring through the processes of finding safety nets and countermeasures JUST IN CASE.
