Keeping Up With the Kashubians (2015) is a short observational film taking place in Kashubia, a rural region of northern Poland. It is Karolina's first film and formed part of an MA in Visual Anthropology. The film looks at how Kashubians live their everyday lives. Through capturing the normality of daily life – people at work, at home and on the streets – we see how, if at all, the local traditions, language and identity exist within modern-day Europe. Kashubian is the only official regional language in Poland and those featured in the film speak a mix of Polish and Kashubian while discussing current affairs, national politics, religion and local gossip.

Portret dzisiejszych Kaszubów. Zwyczajne czynności, rozmowy w domu i w pracy, święto i dzień powszedni. Uchwycenie codziennego życia na wspólczesnych Kaszubach pokazuje jak wygląda tam lokalna tożsamość, tradycje i język. Film „Kaszubi“ (2015) zrobiła Karolina Paczkowska. Jest to jej pierwszy film, i zarazem finałowy projekt magisterski na wydziale Antropologii (specjalność Antropologia Wizualna) na uniwersytecie Goldsmiths w Londynie.
