外國女強人的早上時間表

市值過10億美元集團Focus Brands嘅總裁Kat Cole，今年37歲。身為地球上其中一名「最強」嘅女企業家，原來，早上有一個小習慣，值得我哋學習…

呢個習慣，就係飲水。

李小龍話「功夫就像一杯水」，原來現實生活，水真係好重要，好基本，只係最基本嘅習慣，往往最容易被人忘記。而Kat Cole每朝嘅時間表入面，亦不能沒有水…

5:00am：起床，先飲24安士的水；約花20分鐘飲水、望窗、思考。

5:20am- 6:00am：check email，睇有無急事要處理。

6:00am：天氣好，聽歌散步30分鐘，然後做10分鐘基本健身；如果天氣差，直接會做30分鐘健身，同時喺室內傾下電話，保持與唔同時差嘅朋友聯繫。

6:45am：散完步，飲咖啡，如果外出了，就飲完回家沖涼

7:30am：沖完涼出發

9:00am：公司開會

佢話時間表中最關鍵嘅係，每朝都要飲足夠嘅清水，無論幾點起身，都要令自己得以refresh。佢呢個習慣，係以前往東非工作同生活嘅時候養成，每朝都要用行動，保持感覺清新。

If a young person with a lot of responsibility in the workplace is reading this, they'll get what I'm saying. You deserve to be there, but they're twice your age. They've been working as long as you've been on the planet. So you over-index on humility. You say: "Who am I to question? I'm sure it's fine." But you should really be saying, "Who am I? I'm the effing president, and I should be questioning it!"

Wow. Pretty much sums up most of my career. Sometimes it’s hard to say ‘Hey, listen to me’ when you co-workers are in their fifties and you’re fresh out of school, or still in grad school, and you have as much responsibility and power as they do. 

Sometimes it’s like, you have to be great in order to be recognized as good, in order to overcome this stigma that you have been assigned without your consent.

If you're going to step up, always say yes before you have the skills, but make sure you have the hustle-muscle to get those skills quickly.
