Kat Von D Lock It Foundation is the best foundation that I ever used in my whole life! It has full coverage, that makes me feel like I put on my imaginary ‘clear-baby-skin’ skin on my face! Black spots, pimples, reddish spot or even dark circle look less and less obvious after applying this magical Foundation!
Believe it or not, you can cover your tattoo with it! *if you have one, lol!
This Foundation comes with 32 shades that suits mostly everyone’s skin tone be it white or dark skin. So you don’t have to cry in the bathtub worrying about finding the right shade, lol! I’m using the shade Light #45 a light complexion with yellow undertone that really suits my skin tone.
I know some of you might freaked out when you get to know that this Foundation costs RM179. It’s overprice but I don’t regret buying it because you know, we can keep a foundation up to 12 to 18 months!
So, let’s do a little calculation here, RM179 divide by 365 days the answer is 0.49, so you only pay 49 cents a day!
This full coverage and matte finish foundation lasts for 24 hours and it makes my face look less oily and even better when I apply The Body Shop Tea Tree Mattifying Lotion before I apply this Foundation. What makes it the best foundation ever is that you can hug your bf without having to worry that your make up stain will be on his shirt!! Why? because it comes with the transfer resistant formula!
Now, let’s talk about the bottle, I love the edgy design of the bottle and the box, love the silver and black colours together and I really think it’s brilliant that the bottle is transparent so I know how many product I still have before it’s finished. One thing that I don’t really like is, the small detachable cover of the bottle that I can lose easily anytime anywhere. It’s cute and the ‘KDV’ letters carved on it is very beautiful, that’s the reason why I don’t wanna lose it ever! No one does!
Besides, I don’t want bacteria or germs or whatever to get into my foundation. Yikes!
It claimed to suit every skin type, but it might not suits your skin. I’ve read a few review online and there are so many good reviews but some of it are not good. Anyway, you gotta try to find out whether its good or not. There’s no harm in trying! But, I think it has to do with the technique or the tools used to apply the foundation and how to set the foundation.
Do I recommend this foundation? hell yes! How many stars I would give? 5 out of 5 stars for sure!
