11: What do you like best about this fic?
I like that I met my challenge to write in the voice of both characters - at the time I wrote predominantly from Killan’s POV - and ultimately I think I told a good story that kept the two of them in character.

That I can manage something smut-adjacent, that I overuse the M rating on FF and I should stick to T and that writing a MC fic is hard and scary and massively rewarding all at once.

On a scale of 1-10 how excited are you for the convention in March? You get to meet Jen, Colin, a bunch of other actors ... and most importantly, ME! :D
OMG I am high level excited - 10 doesn’t really cut it!!!! Quite honestly, I am probably more excited to be meeting the people I have connected with in my online life than I am about Jen and Colin - don’t get me wrong, I LOVE the fact that I get to meet these two (AND BEVERLEY!!!) as they are what made me connect with this show in the first place, but my friends here have become so important to me and being able to spend time in person with them (including you) is the best thing!
I don’t know how many people know the big picture of my trip - I am travelling with my 12 year old daughter and after Van we go to NYC and LA. It’s three weeks of just the two of us (leaving the boys at home) and 6 months ago I was slightly concerned that she and her horrendous hormones would not make it to the trip at all! But things are settling for her and now I am really looking forward to the chance to spend this time with my clever, sarcastic, FUNNY kid as she grows up.

Rest assured there would be significant CS action - and possibly CS action - all interspersed with witty banter - but beyond that I have no idea!!! Now that I am all excited about the Sea Squad, perhaps we would have rollicking adventure with them - JR and Nautilus crews teaming up to save the day!

13: What music did you listen to, if any, to get in the mood for writing this story? Or if you didn't listen to anything, what do you think readers should listen to to accompany us while reading?
Hmmm, for Nothing Like Reality I haven’t really thought about music while I was writing - although if I learned anything from writing NTUA it is that listening to music helps me a lot so I probably should.
I have a playlist of songs that make me think about CS (and yes, The Words is on it) and it definitely helps keep me moving, so I would suggest that a reader should pull out their own personal fave CS tracks and go with that.
