KAT TRIES HER BEST not to flinch when eddie’s fingers gently trace over the nasty scar on her shoulder . her oversized sweater had fallen down her arm slightly while she was rummaging around in her backpack for something and she hadn’t noticed quickly enough to pull it back up . now , she has to think of something to say about it because she knows damn well that eddie has definitely noticed it . and , that’s pretty difficult to do when her cheeks are flushing and her brain is going into overdrive from the touch alone . no one’s ever touched her so gently before , and especially not in such a sensitive spot . the real story about it is that she’d gotten attacked by some sort of monster whilst stuck in the upside down . she’d managed to dodge the kill shot , but it had still raked its claws across her shoulder and left quite a jagged scar behind , ❛ um , uh ... ❜ kat stammers , oceanic hues flickering to look at eddie before she’s back to digging through her bag . maybe just ignoring it is the best way to go ? she really doesn’t know ... , ❛ really u ― ugly , isn’t it ? ❜
