hey uh, hi. so basically my friends online and irl are going through some serious stuff, and it's visibly breaking them. i don't know what to do. i'm their friend, but i'm indecisive. maybe some words from ritchan? should i give them some time or try to help?

Weeell... something to consider is, do you have the energy to intervene? When you’re close to someone, naturally, you’d like to help them most of the time, yeah? Well, if you don’t have the energy to do so, you could hurt yourself mentally trying to, and you end up upsetting them more. Even if you wanted to help, seeing your friends put themselves in pain just to try and help just makes you feel crappy, after all. You’re not absolutely obligated to, it’s a nice gesture of friendship.

If you have the energy to... I’d definitely just go for it. Let them vent so you know what’s going on, or just letting them know they’ve got a safe place to vent is good. If you don’t, wait. Even if it feels selfish, whatever you might say when you’re tired will ne~ver be as good as what you might say when you’re mentally prepared for it. So... there you go, I suppose.

hey, resident class 2b stan here!! i’m kind of a genius irl but i’m always being accused of being a narcissist... ;-; so now i’m struggling to decide whether or not I should force myself to be “normal” like everyone or not. 2b, help????

If you’re a genius, there’s no damn reason why you should keep it hidden, right? ‘course, I ain’t talking about bragging 24/7, but there’s no reason why you shouldn’t get to act like one if ya can back it up! Just be yourself, ‘n if people give you shit when you’re just doin’ your own thing, ditch ‘em. You deserve people who’ll bring you up, not drag you down just because they can’t keep up!

. . . That being said, there is nothing wrong with showing your talent off as long as you’re not acting spoiled because of it. Take my young master, for example. He’s growing, and is wonderful in each of his performances, but his attitude is a bit “up there”, to be kind about it, haha. I advise you to avoid going around and looking down on others, but otherwise, there’s nothing wrong with being “you.” Just be yourself, dear anon.

ritchaaaaaan ;-; ok so lately i'm not getting enough sleep and idk why??? but since you're the master of sleeping and all (and because i love you), could i have some tips on better sleep? thank :)

Ehhh... I guess just, find a comfortable spot if your family doesn’t mind you sleeping elsewhere. If not cling onto your pillow or a stuffed toy.

Sometimes people say eating before bed is bad, but personally a lil snack or two before going to pass out helps me rest easier.... Yaaawwwwn~

Speaking of which... Napping does sound good right about now.

Mmnn, stress is a given, since school can be su~per hard sometimes, right? Good to hear you’re not failing, though! Or else I would’ve told on you to mister “I can lecture for 30 minutes if given the chance” over here~!

Weeell, to de-stress, why not use your free time to just absolutely forget about school, and play video games? Or maybe you wanna go shopping with me? I can get ya a really cute sweater or coat! Whatever ya need, I’m sure I can afford to give you some of my time and money if it’ll help you a bit~
