Kataigida is young, especially by the standards of her family. Being less than a century old makes one of the absolute youngest of the keres. As such, her control isn’t the best. This includes her blood lust and ability to keep her illusions in place.
She was left on her sister’s doorstep as their mother figured if anyone could teach the girl control and how to blend in, it would be Avalon. This was very upsetting to her to start with because she wanted to stay home and not have to take up duties. And it paid off. She’s worked very hard at it and has gained decent control over her years living among mortals.
Kat is sort of like a puppy. She’s friendly, hyper, and terribly sweet most of the time, and, although she has a temper you would do wise to not provoke, she is more likely to cry than get aggressive.
She has one child by Silas, a daughter named Abigail. The rest of her kids are with Cam, Lyri, and Tass (although Tass eventually left them all).
She had been willing to give Tass a second chance when he first came back for the sake of Cam, but then shit hit the fan and she now refuses to acknowledge Tass's existence.
