HOO boy you ever just draw something so self indulgent you just gotta question whether you can post it??? Just me?? I’m literally giggling and kicking my feet so hard oh lord.

RAAAAAHHH LOOK AT THEM!!! Soft Hugo my beloved oh my god. Also of course I had to draw them doing the waltz like…come on it had to happen. It was kind of a semi normal sketch and then I just went HAM. He is honestly so fun to draw even though he built kind of wide lol.

Get yourself a woman who can do both.

But I took a lot of inspiration from Kipo’s dress from when she was in the palace. But I wanted it to look even more French and royal looking. I think next time I draw her in the dress I want to add an extra layer of white ruffle under the sleeves and dress to pull more of the white in and pull it all together.

For her name I’m definitely thinking a moon themed name (because I’m predictable) I’m even maybe thinking Estelle or Lunette (wow a French moon/star name wooooow) but I don’t think she’s actually French lol. Well obviously it’s my self insert and I’m definitely not French lmao.

But tbh i kind of imagine she’d be very stubborn, but like in a bad way! Like…always fights for what she believes in way, kiiind of like Kipo but she’s more realistic about things. She’s experienced more of the bad side of humanity and knows what they are capable of.

I’m still kind of undecided whether I want them to meet pre or post redemption of scarlemagne? I mean I technically drew her in the dress which kind of implies pre redemption but idk. I think it could be a kind of interesting dynamic of his pre redemption and he “takes her in” in a manipulative type way at first. To have a mute human hybrid weapon (which is what he wanted Kipo for at first) but I feel like if I go down this route it would probably be before Kipo, obviously because I’m actually the same age as Scarlemagne/Hugo. Well almost. Pretty much.

But then comes the problem (my own self inflicted problem) how does she become a mutant? Because I tinted her skin it kind of puts her in the same box as Kipo (I wanted to make her like that for funsies) so maybe because it’s just fun it doesn’t NEED an explanation but the other part of me loves to figure out to inter-grate my characters into the worlds I love.

I mean there’s gotta be more smart people who have had a similar thought or idea to lio and song? I kind of what my character to be like in a way….kipo but if she went down a wrong path? In a certain way.

The main idea is maybe growing up she was being trained to take over the surface. To harness her mute side? But I kind of love drawing her feral and unhinged so idk..but maybe she runs away to the surface to be free of whatever burrow she was in (definitely going to come up with a different design for her jumpsuit/emblem eventually) where scarlemagne then finds her. She’s lost and alone and scared. So what does he do? He offers her protection on the surface and a false sense of belonging. She just has to do one teeny tiny thing.

Be his personal body guard/weapon.

Definitely is very toxic and very manipulative at first. I feel like (we’ll use Estelle as a place holder but it can be subject to change) gets the more charming side of him, which is want he wants (because he wants her to want to stay) so she kind of idolizes him. Starts to genuinely believe in his cause. (Giving me some fun ideas of drawing her more villainy hehe)

But I kind of feel like over time, with them spending so much time together. They both start to open up about their pasts…slowly the dynamic would shift. How they touch and greet each other. It’s not perfect but also they are not perfect people. I like the idea that they are very clingy only with each other hehe.

Now…I’m not sure how the coronation arc would really work though…plus after when he’s imprisoned. I definitely think she would just want to go wherever he is, and I definitely think she’d have some infamy as well. I mean I think Estelle would definitely have used her brute strength to threaten and put fear into other mutes. Definitely went around “inviting” others on scarlemagnes behalf.

But anyways that’s all my half baked ideas for now. I’ve been thinking bout them ALOT. I will probably spend more time trying to properly flesh it out but for now that’s my basic silly ass idea. If you read all this….wow thanks for indulging in my cringe hehehe

My good friend @one-hell-bunny posted his #MuteifyMe OC named Tarto today. So I guess it's time to show you mine too.

Tarto and Jade are best friends from two rival packs: Mod Frogs and Scooter Skunks. Their friendship began with a fight that was started because of a prejudiced attitude towards each other. But then Tarto and Jade realized that there was no need for them to fight. And after many months of mutual assistance they became close friends, almost brother and sister.

Jade loves adventures, she's hyperactive and positive. Tarto on the contrary prefers a quiet sedentary life. However they find compromises and enjoy spending time together.
