Morning all! Katarqui and I are at London MCM this weekend but we're NOT in the comic village. We're on a dealers table this year. Here, have a bit of a new thing I worked on this morning. It’s a big of a sketch I’ve done based on the first page of The Crooked Kind, which I just discovered is a thing that is happening and has me excited. Not quite sure where this one is going yet. The opening few pages have some very nicely metered text (not sure if its intentional, but it sort-of-almost fits some of the melodic gestures I’ve come up with so far, so I might run with it), so I might actually set the words or just match them up with the orchestra melody or something (like that piece about ritually killing the snake that I can never remember the name of).
