hey everyone, i just wanted come on here n talk bout something. ok im pretty sure everyone on katblr has seen it or at least has felt it. but in months since about like november-ish katsblr has been an absolute shit show. i know i know everyone n their mum has said this on here but like js humor me.
i honestly think that the fact the ppl think its ok to fuck with and pick on all of the incredibly talented writers on here is fucking crazy. ive first hand seen ppl ive considered my friends on here deactivate and literally leave the fucking fandom because of how bad the hate got. and i know most of you guys are awesome kind ppl, trust me ive seen it as ive gotten to know a lot of you guys.
but to all of the anons who are sending relentless hate to writers on here does it ever actually occur to you that there is another person on the receiving of your words or are you just oblivious to how other ppl feel and that you might be making them lose a love they held for a something they loved.
i genuinely dont think it's that hard to just be kind. yk i think it actually harder to find something to hate about someone then it is to find one small thing to compliment them about. its so easy to hold a hand out to another person and just say a few words. you might not know but even a simple compliment could make someones day or stop them from doing something life changing. i think that there are so many awesome ppl here on katsblr and if we reach out a little more we can build such a great community.
i lowkey feel like im js spit balling but what im trying to say is that i dont wanna just sit here and do nothing as i see blog after blog deactivate. that wouldn't be right. im going to do this and you hope you guys consider doing it to, im going to js start taking some more time to get to know more ppl on here. i know it might not be much and i know that there are other blogs saying to do this too but i think the more we spread this msg the better. set a goal to just send a kind msg in someones inbox. whether it's once a day, week or even a month. just try and i think even the smallest of things would make a difference.
