If it’s sth from the books, do you think the makers of season 2 will include it in the season? I just feel like it’ll be so wonderful to watch… Anthony just being jealous of his younger brother who’s obv not of age 🤣🤣

I'd be happy to talk about Gregory and Kate, we all know they're my fave duo.
So this is a little of both!
Gregory isn't really very present in TVWLM but in his own book, Gregory and kate have a very special relationship. It's clear from the get go that Gregory loves Kate. In fact, Anthony says "Kate was disappointed." When Gregory shows up late to their house party at Aubrey hall, and Gregory feels guilty for having disappointed her, even though he knows she likely won't hold a grudge.
And through out the book, Kate is something of a sounding board for Gregory, and it's clear he looks up to her very much.
And I think a lot of us have just kind of assumed that, given the special relationship they share, and gvien that Gregory was 13 when he met Kate and she was probably the first proper lady he had a lot of contact with, that he maybe had a little baby crush on her.
Because, let's get real: Kate's a babe, and a very worthy choice. And I think Kate would find it funny that Anthony's jaw twitches when Gregory asks Kate if she'll practices his dances with him.
Anthony swooping in after half of one dance like "That's enough Greg go ask Daphne, Kate's mine. Shoo!"
Because I think we can all agree that Anthony hoards Kate like Gollum hoards the ring.
this are just some random things playing around in my mind thanks to all your AUs: Gregory meeting Lucy and Lucy then meeting Kate in a slamming screen door (Kate was there to see him grow up!the entire time!can you imagine Gregory introducing Lucy and Kate!!) and now after sure also more Daphne and Anthony bonding because while Anthony stepped up after Edmund died, so did Daphne of sorts (I guess??) anyway this ask is so not necessary I just have too many thoughts/feelings about your AUs!!

Oh Imagine how curious Kate would be about the girl from University Gregory can't stop talking about. Anthony would look on with mild confusion while Kate coos over Lucy Abernathy's instagram. Even when Gregory would say
"We just study together that's all."
And Kate would laugh, "Greg you're probably a little too young to remember when I used to just study with Anthony." Gregory would groan while Anthony chuckles at the memory. "And let me tell you, I spent most of my time staring at his arms before we were together and after we were together most of the time I was staring at the ceiling."
And then one day, Gregory comes home from university with a girl tucked under his arm and the hugest grin on his face as he introduces her to his family, and finally he gets to Kate.
"Lucy, this is my Sister in Law Kate. She's married to Anthony."
And Lucy Abernathy smiles and says "It's so nice to meet you, Kate, Gregory talks about you all the time."
And Kate just can't resist. "I should hope so, didn't he tell you I was the first girl he ever loved. Tried to steal me away from Anthony."
I feel like we haven't had some Kate and Gregory moments in a while? Ben would show up at Anthony and Kate's all the time for comfort. What about Gregory?
Ohhhhhhhhh We know how much I love Gregory and his emotional support Kate.
You just know that Gregory is slinking into Kate's office every time Lucy yells at him for ruining her filing system. And Kate's just like "Sit down, eat the apple turnover and walk out pretending to be chastised." Because Gregory is lowkey her favourite cheeky little Bridgerton. She often laments that Gregory is just a little on the young side for her, so she had to settle for Anthony. And Obviously Anthony is just like: 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Okay! Kate and Gregory!
From the very first time she'd met Gregory, standing a little nervously in the foyer of Bridgerton and Sons trying to hide his enormous 6ft behind Lucy's 5ft 3, Kate had liked him. Gregory was sweet and kind, and he had a little mischievous streak that Kate found very very endearing. They'd been friendly, but when she started dating Anthony, they'd somehow drifted even closer. Gregory had looked up delightedly when Kate and Anthony had arrived hand in hand, and not the least bit surprised. Which had in fact surprised her a little. For some reason, though she'd told her own family she hadn't quite imagined that Anthony had burst into his mother's living room yesterday and proclaimed his undying love for her. She supposed they really might not know. She'd looked up shortly after settling herself behind her desk to a knock at the door and been a little wary of the bright smile on Gregory's face as he'd flopped into the chair opposite her. Kate Kate Kate, You know I always thought you'd make such a nice sister in law for me! Kate had rolled her eyes, despite the little flutter his words had caused in her chest. Well, Anthony's hardly shackled to me just yet. We've been in a relationship for about 4 days. Kate had said dryly, and Gregory had just grinned even more broadly. Well he was certainly very exuberant at Mum's yesterday. burst through the door talking about how much he loved you. Kate's heart leaping again at the ridiculousness of his statement. Mum nearly had a kitten, I wouldn't be surprised if she just shows up here today. Kate's stomach lurched Do you not have any real work to do?! Kate had said a little wildly and Gregory had laughed brightly standing from the chair and said earnestly I'm glad it's you Kate! And then he was gone before Kate could decide if he'd meant any of it.
Kate had tried and tried to get Gregory to realise that Lucy was perfect for him, and nothing had worked. And Kate had seen it all, the ache in her chest at the familiar way Lucy's face would fall when he said This is why we're friends, Luce! and Lucy would smile though it didn't reach her eyes, flinching away from him as he tried to pull her into a friendly hug. And every time Gregory's obviousness made her sigh. You're an idiot, you know. Kate said after she watched Lucy sidle away, watched her shoulders slump ever so slightly. Gregory spinning towards her like an adorably confused puppy. I'm sure you're right but why? Kate sighed again, rolling her eyes. One Day soon someone else is going to realise what you don't. And she'd left Gregory standing there a frown on his handsome face. And two weeks later, when she'd walked into the office and Gregory had his arms wrapped tightly around Lucy her smile bright, Kate hadn't been able to stop herself from tugging him into a hug of her own I'm glad you're not a complete idiot.
What do you say we show them how its done Sheffield? Gregory's voice said close to her ear and Kate bit back a smile, turning towards he brother in law his face shining with excitement. You know I haven't been a Sheffield in a few years now. she said as he led her onto the dance floor, spinning her a little madly, watching Lucy dancing with her brother a short distance away. You look so happy today, Greg. Kate said softly and impossibly, Gregory's smile got even wider. I'm the happiest anyone's ever been. And oddly, Kate believed him.
does kate know that Greg has a crush on her in BSCU/Casual?
I don't know that Greg has an actual crush crush on Kate, but Gregory loves and respects her a lot. Gregory sees her as a close friend for one (which I'm sure we can agree, very odd to imagine your close friend having casual hate sex with your older brother) and he also looks up to her a lot.
She's good at her job, and she does it in a very principled fashion. She does the most pro bono work out of anyone at the firm, certainly more than most in London. And she's the kind of solicitor he wants to be, the kind of person he wants to be. So yeah, he has a bit of a life crush on Kate Sheffield, and the thought of her shagging Anthony casually is a little weird to him. Especially because he knows that Anthony really likes Kate, and he doesn't like the idea that Anthony might be messing her around. But at the same time, Kate's a big girl, and she can make her own decisions, so Gregory is staying the heckers out of it.
I think in a post you once wrote that Gregory once drove Anthony to the hospital to see Kate after an accident...can we please get some angsty Kate and Gregory feels🥺?

You guys are as always, very good at remembering tiny little factoids from this universe! Gregory did in fact drive Anthony to the hospital when Kate got into a tiny little car accident. She's fine guys! She just dislocated her shoulder when her taxi was in a mmulticar pile up. A taxi she was in I mean, Kate's not out there being an Uber driver in her spare time! Anyway, so I wrote some Lucy+ Anthony headcanons last week and you can see these here this is the reverse of that.
Gregory truly wasn't sure when it happened but somewhere in the year since she'd been dating his brother, Kate Sheffield had become one of the only people he went to for advice. Logically he knew he could go to anyone of his siblings for advice but time and time again he found him spell seeking out Kate’s calm levelheadedness. The way she carefully assessed situations before making decisions, calmly reasoning with herself, he truly admired it. And even more he’d found himself seeking her approval. So when Anthony had taken Gregory into his office and told him calmly that Kate felt Gregory had done quite enough with Lucy. That it was time to leave her alone, his heart sunk, shame welling up inside him. Because Kate always said You’re never in trouble with me, Greg. And apparently, he finally was. And then he’d sprinted up the stairs and told Lucy he was in love with her and he was thrilled, but he couldn’t shake the nerves in his stomach when he knocked on Kate’s door later that afternoon, his hand shaking a little as Lucy looked curiously up at him. Gregory had nervously pushed his way inside, her shoulders squaring, preparing himself to tell Kate that he was prepared to look out for Lucy, he would love her, and support her until she had to beat him away with a stick. Only to be immediately engulfed in a tight hug, his brother’s future wife practically crushing the life from his chest a she rattled off Jesus Greg! I thought you’d never wise up! Ugh Greg! You’re going to be so happy together! But- she said pulling back and looking at him sternly Gregory, if you hurt her I’ll kill you. Gregory nodded vehemently Kate I would never! And as Kate grinned at him, his nerves disappeared completely
Kate would never admit to having favourites between Anthony’s siblings, but she did have a soft spot for cheeky little Gregory, who now as a father of 7 (soon to be 9) wasn’t so little anymore. And god he was a spectacular father, he loved his children and his wife with a single minded focus that was beautiful to see, Gregory could often be found learning new braiding techniques for his daughters, baking, far more competent a sewer than Kate could ever claim to be: Lucy and Gregory’s children always had perfect Halloween costumes. It was truly admirable. And then she got a call one afternoon, her Brother in laws choked voice saying Umm Kate, can you.. ahh can you come to the hospital... Lucy’s had the twins umm but. And then he burst into tears, and Kate’s heart was in her throat Greg, is Lucy okay? What happened? And then she heard Lucy’s quiet voice. I’m fine Kate, but umm Eloise, the baby, she needs some surgery and just- and Kate was already in the car, Anthony hot on her heels. And when she arrived at the hospital her heart broke, Gregory looked nearly manic tears running down his face, Lucy near despondent and when Gregory wrapped his arms around her he didn’t seem any old than he had the very first time she’d met him.
I love all the world building and relationships you’ve written about since starting Bridgerton & Sons but Kate and Gregory still hold the specialist place in my heart...can I tempt you with quickly revisiting them?
Kate and Gregory are... without a doubt my favourite Kate + Bridge Sib interaction that I’ve written about or in canon. Absolutely no need to tempt me into revisiting them. And I’m more than likely gonna add some Lucy and Gregory in there because I love and adore them, and I miss writing about them!
Gregory Bridgerton had known from the very first time he met Kate Sheffield that he liked her immensely. She was the only person he’d seen (their mother aside) tell Anthony that no he absolutely could not have his way all the time just because he wanted it. And it made Anthony absolutely wild. And yet even as intimidating as she was, Gregory saw the kindness she treated everyone else in the office, the way she seemed to draw everyone in around her like moths to her warm personality. That didn’t make him any less intimidated by her though, and so when, a month into his employment Anthony had passed him a stack of memos and said, I need you to give these to Sheffield and watch her read them. She can’t keep ignoring them forever! Gregory had loitered nervously outside her office door even after Lucy had told him it was fine to go in. After a minute Lucy had tutted and rapped smartly on the door before she said Kate, Gregory for you. Opened the door and thrust him inside. Kate had looked a little startled as he’d entered, her eyebrow raised as she leaned back in her chair, her mug frozen halfway to her mouth. Gregory had nervously shuffled in, adjusting his glasses as he said Miss Sheffield, Anthony needs you to look at these memos and a little smirk had appeared on her lips and she’d said You can leave them there, thank you Gregory. I’ll email him my thoughts. And Gregory had shifted nervously again unsure how to say what he had too. Kate had laughed brightly and said He told you to watch me read them didn’t he? And Gregory had nodded nervously his eyes darting around the room ad Kate had hummed and then startled him by saying Gregory, Do you like apple turnovers? His eyes had flicked back to hers as she set her mug down pulling the memos towards him and nudging a little brown paper bag towards him If we’re going to be in here for the next few minutes together it only seems right that we share it. And Gregory hadn’t been able to stop the smile that had spread over his face as he’d sat in the chair across from her and 15 minutes when he’d left he’d felt that Kate Sheffield was someone who could be his friend.
And friends they were. But Gregory couldn’t help but notice the way his brother’s eyes would always flick to Kate whenever she stood laughing with Lucy and him. Or when she smiled at Stephanie the paralegal. Anthony would stand, a little transfixed until Kate moved away or he was interrupted. Eventually Gregory took it upon himself You could just talk to her you know. He said as they left the staff meeting one week and Anthony had huffed, his eyes sliding from Kate who was running her hands absentmindedly through her hair as she laughed at something Lucy was saying. Who do you mean? And Greg had scoffed unwilling to let him get away this easily Kate. It’s obvious that you like her and she’s my friend and I think you’d- Anthony closed his office door with a sharp Go and ask your friend Kate if she plans to do any work today Gregory did not move from his seat but laughed loudly.
Kate knew something was wrong as soon as she walked into the office that Wednesday. Lucy and Gregory usually stood, even before they were dating, practically chest to chest as they whispered and laughed together waiting for Kate and Anthony. This morning Gregory stood by the lift, and Lucy stood on the other side of the reception desk, her back pointedly turned towards Gregory who was looking a little longingly at her, and more than a little like a kicked puppy. Lucy is everything alright? Kate had said gently as Lucy had joined her to review the day and she’d been greeted with a tight smile and an Of Course. Kate couldn’t help but think Clearly. By lunch time it had reached breaking point. The tension in the office was worse than it ever had been between her and Anthony and Kate had had quite enough. Gregory, we’re going to lunch. She said sharply, looking at her fiancé’s startled younger brother spring from his chair and follow her from the office. Kate distracted him as they walked down the street talking about the discussion on a Harry Potter podcast she’d started listening too and made her move when they sat at the tiny table So what happened with Lucy? And his whole body seemed to deflate as he groaned I have no idea? We were just talking and she said something about Hermione and I agreed and then she just went really... distant and I asked her what was wrong but she just... went home and now she’s still being distant this morning and I just- He finished, his head falling into his hands and Kate’s heart clenched What did she say about Hermione? the suspicion that she knew what this was about creeping in And Gregory shrugged I honestly don’t remember something about how her Uncle liked Hermione because she was pretty and he thought her brother needed a- Oh Fuck! Gregory said his mouth falling open in understanding his eyes looking more than a little devastated. Kate hummed sympathetically Greg, Honey, You know I love you, but you can be just as dense as your brother sometimes. It’s possible that Lucy might feel just the tiniest insecure when it comes to Hermione Gregory’s mouth had fallen open to protest and she’d said I know that you love Lucy and so does she, she might just need a little reminder. And when they’d arrived back at the office half an hour later, despite Kate’s best counsel that Gregory should calmly discuss this with Lucy he practically sprinted from the lift through the office pulling her from her chair ignoring a little squeak of surprise as he crashed their lips together before practically yelling Lucy, I love you and every time I see you I have to catch my breath Kate’s heart had leapt for her poor sweet Brother in law as Lucy had looked a little embarrassed though more than a bit pleased as she said gesturing awkwardly Gregory have you met my brother Richard?
