That's a 45% increase from this year's inaugural price of $825, Bloomberg News reports. The race, as always, includes a 2.4 mile swim, a 112 mile bike ride and a 26.2 mile marathon. Is this a BUY HOLD OR SELL?

A Stroll Along London's South Bank

This morning, I walked west from London Bridge tube, past Southwark Cathedral and Borough Market, which is open every day during the Olympics, and along an almost empty South Bank (save for a few 2012 mascots), to the Tate Modern, where I dodged live butterflies, went crossed-eyed at the multiple spots paintings, and slid between two halves of a formaldehyde-pickled calf at the Damien Hirst retrospective. Here are some snaps.
