There's always a romance every few years or so where I stop rooting for the main couple after the book's obligatory 75% break up point.

In 2020, it was The Unhoneymooners. In 2022, it was apparently Talk Bookish to Me. I'm not going to give spoilers for why I feel this way about Ryan and Kara (if you want that - check my "thoughts while reading" tab) but man was I actively rooting for Kara to find a new love interest at the end.

Sometimes I debate whether or not I should DNF a story when this happens to me - I might next time, because I just spent the last part of this book hate-reading.

Talk Bookish To Me Rate: 3.5 🌟🌟🌟✨ ✨Short review: I’m addicted loyal fan of enemies to lovers trope add smart banters to it, pant melting chemistry and very likable character, I’m sold! I can read millions of books with this definition! I must admit, there were several moments that moved me to tears as I read this book, but it was filled with so much fun and great banter. I love rooting for a second chance romance, and it was clear these two were not done with each other yet. I wanted them to rekindle their love. I won't say that i liked Ryan very much cause of all he did in the past, but I forgave him, even if I didn't fully understand him. The ending was precious and left the best sort of last impression on me. Anyways I’m so happy to read this book which put this lovely and brilliant author on my radar!
