IT'S A (GAY) DATE

It looks like the gay is quietly being caught over at the ABC. With recent shows like the short lived but uber gay Outland, and one of my favourite Aussie shows in aaaaaaaaages, Please Like Me on ABC2, audiences are getting pretty versed in the song book of queer. 

  This week’s episode of comedy series It’s A Date saw Zara (Kate Ritchie, released momentarily from her 1000 year contract as Sally on Home and Away) and Eve (Nadine Garner) clashing on an awkward first date.

  The episodes are stand alones so we won’t see these characters again but it’s a sweet series and this one’s no different. The episode’s secondary story of a country gal and a Muslim guy is pretty great too.
