26th Sun of the Second Astral Moon
A few moments to put pen to paper. There is so much to catch up on.
When I could no longer stand the eerie silence on the ship, after the night with the boy, I put out the word to meet outside Dragonhead for some respite. I offered a fun competition for gil and many stepped in to give it a try. It was relaxing and fun. Kayne even volunteered to help out. He made an amazing and glorious snowball target. Saphy won and Jules, the archer, and Ashe came in next places.
Most of us have been keeping our heads down and working since the other night. There is an intensity happening, and those of us not directly involved are still suffering the consequences.
Two new members joined the crew. I met them in Limsa with Katalin. I saw her in the Drowning Wench, speaking to new faces. A lalafel and miqo’te going by the names of Aries and ‘K’. They are traveling swords for hire. And our outreach to the A tribe refugees seemed to go far. K is apparently a distant relative of the Captain. She does not boast, in fact, she seems to be a good soul. Both of them really. They are a breath of fresh air on this ship.
Jun and I are doing what we can to heal from the experiences of the last month. I suppose with the trauma we have been through, we have accomplished a ‘trial by fire’ in our relationship and now we are more bonded than ever. We have taken days to ourselves to talk and figure out the next steps in our lives. With him, I feel overwhelming happiness that I would do anything to protect.
