Sorry it’s been so long since I’ve posted! I decided to take a leap and have been working on faceup commissions from some lovely people who have entrusted me to work some magic on their dolls. I even have some manicure requests! Exciting! Meantime, please check out this mini photoshoot with my Asuka, Rei and Mari. I have had a hard time finding good glasses for Mari but these will do for now. They’re all Parabox heads on azone and obitsu 1/3 bodies (so about the height of Dollfie Dream Pretty). I love long haired Rei a lot but I hope to get her a short wig and a white medical eye patch some point in the future. They’re using an American Girl desk from my youth (heavy as heck!) but I actually recently got the vintage American Girl Mac Desktop that I kinda want to use for a different photoshoot with these three. I could even photoshop some NERV computer screens onto it I bet! Also, the school bag is actual from my Azone Madoka uniform set (one day I’ll get one of the Azone Madoka dolls).

Lina Inverse!  She’s a limited Dollfie Dream Sister I bought on a payment plan in 2021, she was released for the 30th Anniversary of Slayers.  When I was younger I used to read the light novels, and as an adult was able to watch the anime. I really enjoyed the goofy and sometimes serious adventures she has. It’d be cool if Volks released alternate outfits but I think that ship may  have sailed already.    (No, I have not pierced her ears yet. I am a bit too scared. Eventually though.)

Just thinking about my Asuka today.  She was my first vinyl doll. I bought a parabox head, a homecast sheepy head and mystic kids body for my first jump in BJDs. I had her on a resin body for quite some time. Eventually I would get her an Azone/Obitsu 1/3 body. Her head is the parabox Luna sculpt and this is her second faceup I have given her. I may eventually change her head but for now this makes me happy. She is holding a radio eva plush keychain. I have a long haired rei and I am currently working on a Mari too. Maybe I should try to get her the yellow dress finally this summer. Evangelion is one of my favorite things.

If there’s one thing to know of me, it’s that I love hybriding dolls. I get cheaper or doll parts that need work and go from there. I feel like it’s a good way to exercise my skills with monetizing it and help me curb my spending. Here’s some shots of my MaddyBear Dolls Elle, she’s named Nikki(As in Shining Nikki)! It’s only a MBD head but that’s just fine with me. I was just so pumped to see a stylized doll that looked more like me and my family. She’s on a doll family h body here and wearing a parabox suit for resin matching.  I wouldn’t mind owning an Elle in golden hour or zodiac some day when I get another nice paying job. I have a second Elle head coming in from the second preorder, it’s also in blush but I’m thinking I’ll color match it to my doll family yellow and put Nikki on the doll leaves body I have as it’s almost a perfect match with blush resin. I don’t have a name for them yet but I want my second Elle to be a sibling to Nikki but have a neon green focused theme.  I haven’t seen too many Elle’s out in the wild still aside from some mutuals, I hope more people will share more (especially when second preorder Elle’s ship!).

Returning to Tumblr after many years. I just wanted another place to post photos of my dolls. Forgive me if I am a bit rusty. Sophie is dressed up for Mermay. Sophie is a homecast sheepy head on a count sheepy body by Sleepy Sheepy Dreams. Faceup by me, eyes and homecasting by Melonpan. I have sheepy hybrids, dollfie dream, super dollfie, obitsu, lillycat, maddybear dolls, vintage and more. I also will be posting my non resin and vinyl dolls collection from time to time (such as my hot toy Kylo Ren). I hope there are dolls you will enjoy in my collection.
