What's the biggest breed of dog you've ever carried? What breeds do you hope to carry in the future?

i once hauled a very excited great dane off stevie, much to both their disappointment. (steve’s allergies, on the other hand, were quite glad to see the dog removed.) 

in the future? i’m hoping fenrir.

Mermaid- What are you looking forward to? Right now? Not being a damned wreck. And Lori needs to stop reading over my shoulder.

...And she’s telling me I ‘have’ to give a better answer than that.

I guess it’s between the looks that’ll be on some people’s faces when they find out I’ve been teaching some (the shrieking would be hilarious, especially since those bigoted assholes can’t do anything about it), and the fact that I’ve got a trip up to the surface planned in a few days. Nothing big, mostly downtime, but it’ll be a good break.

Magic Healer- Any pets? If so, what are they?

I’m not reely a ‘pet’ sort of person (some ingrained shark shit from early on), but Topo recently took in this tiny octopus-- one of the really small kinds.

One of these things. Likes wandering into my room and hiding in weird places or knocking things down. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve had to catch it and bring it back to Topo just because it keeps going places it shouldn’t.

Seriously, it tried camping out in Blubber’s computer once. IN. Not on it, not around it, IN IT. None of us wants to deal with Topo’s reaction if it gets hurt, so we’re all pretty much on ‘octopus watch duty’ any time we realize it’s roaming around and not glommed onto Topo like it normally is.

FYI-- Topo named it Orpa.

If you don't mind me asking, how did you find out about his real age?

Well this is the laughable part- dude is lying about his age and isn’t even being slick about it! He told me about his job and I thought it was interesting so I looked up his company and it had him listed on his site of being at a director level and having 10+ years experience, which doesn’t add up since you graduate college at 22 and he was claiming to be 31. And on our last date he mentioned he lives alone in DC in a trendy neighborhood, and picked me up in an EXTREMELY nice car.

So I look up his LinkedIn and it has HIS GRADUATION DATES. Dude is lying about his age when his public LinkedIn clearly shows he’s a lot older! If you’re going to lie at least TRY to be convincing!

He’s originally from Afghanistan (he defected and moved here over a decade ago) So from what he’s told about his family and his upbringing it wasn’t the happiest (obviously) but he seems to have a good attitude about it.
