Summary:
Summary: Working at the local Snack Shack at Hawkins Pool wasn’t your dream but it’s a decent summer job before college. It did come with a perk of being in proximity to the recent California transfer and resident asshole, Billy Hargrove. Having a nice view of the handsome blond was good enough, but when circumstances lead you to an encounter with Billy and then a chance to become friends, perhaps even more, you can’t stay away. Out here it’s easier somehow. No one expects anything from me and they barely give my arm a second glance. I’m adapting better too, ya know? Figuring out how to do it all one-handed. It’s not so bad. Being on-the-go helps, too. A few days in one city an then I pull out a map and pick a destination. There’s a freedom in having no set plans.

This was just the New Year’s pick me up I needed this week. Sam is super adorable, and the nostalgia induced fluff is top notch. Snippet:Biting your lip, you looked around at the falling snow.

I have binge-read the series hoping for fluffy relief, AND IT HASN’T HAPPENED YET. 🙏🙏🙏 include some soon? (or you can totally keep my heart and crush it because either way this is beautiful) Snippet: “Because his next meeting is LONG OVERDUE.” Liz said, once again nodding in Y/N’s direction, this time a bit more exaggerated.

Best Smut: Is this stuff coming out of you? This week’s Best Smut is Does Captain America Put Out? by one of my favorites @imamotherfuckingstar-lord . The reader in this is absolutely hysterical, roommate!Nat is the best (even though she is the queen of embarrassing you), and getting to see my best buds have a night out together is perfect. Snippet: The redhead smiled and shrugged, tilting her chin up towards the bar. “I know you aren’t, but here comes Steve and Clint, make him buy you a beer.”
You laughed and leaned back into the booth, twirling a white napkin in the air. “I doubt Barton will buy me a beer, I still owe him a pizza.”

**So I kind of cheated a little this week by picking some pre-smut. I know, I know... (if you’re really disappointed the best of the week is full of smut)

Fake Dating AUs are a serious weakness of mine, and this is done with perfection. I love your depiction of Buck’s parents and your flangst is on point. My heart physically hurt while reading this- and I was pining like a mf. My hat’s off to you.

Best Overall: I just want to be sure you've considered all our options… This week’s Best Overall goes to the filth writing, panty ruining, master of stucky x reader- @emilyevanston This is a Stucky x Reader series that has absolutely ruined me. I binged read ALL of it while staying up all night, because of the gatdamn fluff. I am in love with how you incorporated the rest of the team, the shy-turns-sassy reader is 💯💯💯, and I this has had me craving chocolate all week. Snippet: “Why is it Irish?” You ask. Both of them laugh again.
“You know, I never even thought to ask.” Steve answers. “That’s strange isn’t it.” He wipes your hands clean. Getting out all the little bits of rock and gravel.
“Why are you Irish, FRIDAY?” He asks.
“Mr Stark likes redheads.” She replies.
Bucky absolutely loses it laughing. His laughter is infectious and soon all three of you are in hysterics. It helps dull the sting when Steve puts iodine on your hands.Warnings: language, fluff, i think that’s it?
