One of my first stops on the midtown lunch circuit since moving back to NYC was the classic Biryani Cart on West 45th St. Their kati rolls were just as spicy and perfect as I remember them being two years ago! All that had changed is their price, having gone up to seven bucks for two rolls. But oh so worth the price!

Breakfast on a budget - Look no further than Kati Junction

If you've never tried Kati rolls, you are missing out! I've always thought that a kati roll is the same as a frankie, a staple for me during my university days in Dubai, but it turns out that they are two different things entirely!

Anyway, I'm going off on a tangent reminiscing about frankies :) Let's get back to kati rolls -

Wagepoint's got another home in New York now, over at the Grind, and the best part of this new spot is its proximity to Kati Junction.

5 min walk tops, and I can get myself a filling Aloo masala kati roll for just $4.5 - I'm not really a bagel or muffin kind of gal, so the spicy kati roll is just the kind of breakfast I like!
