I’m releasing a live version of my song “Everything Has Its Way” today on Bandcamp for the benefit of ongoing fire relief in Los Angeles. 100% of your contribution will be split evenly between the five organizations listed below.

Bandcamp is donating 100% of their proceeds today, February 7th, to MusiCares, supporting musicians impacted by wildfires… so it’s a particularly great day to download my catalog and buy my merch. :)

LA is where I was born and raised, and my heart is broken for all the lives affected by the fires. There have been fires there before, but nothing like this. When I was in high school, there were wildfires that brought down ash all over Los Angeles. Along with the ash, the sun looked blood red and the whole city felt strange. It was an eerie and scary image, and the whole experience brought about contemplation about life and existence. I ended up writing my song “Ashes Ashes” from my album “Lamplight” about this.

I’m praying for everyone affected by the fires and hoping that this will only pave the way for brighter days ahead. 💙

“Everything Has Its Way (Live)” - is dedicated to LA Fire Relief - 100% of the download proceeds will be donated to these 5 organizations:

1) United Way of Greater Los Angeles is providing housing assistance and connecting those displaced with critical services.

2) Los Angeles Regional Food Bank is distributing emergency food supplies to families in need.

3) World Central Kitchen is delivering fresh, hot meals to evacuees and responders.

4) California Community Foundation Wildfire Relief Fund is funding immediate relief and long-term recovery efforts.

5) Direct Relief is supplying medical aid and emergency supplies to fire-affected communities.
