hailnoe tagged me in this today & I'm kinda excited about it because it's never happened to me before.

Her questions:
1. Favorite musical? Les Miserables, hands down. I've seen it 4 times on stage and I'm pretty sure I could listen to the music everyday without getting tired of it. My family took me to see the movie for Christmas last year & I think they kinda suffered through it while I was like "THIS IS MY FAVORITE THING EVER AND I'VE WAITED YEARS FOR THIS MOVIE."
2. Last time you felt genuinely happy. This evening. My cousins (ages 8 & 5) are visiting my house & I did a FaceTime call with my mom & when the call connected they were there & just seeing them on screen with big smiles going HI! made me happy. And I got to see my parents for the first time in like 2 1/2 months since I'm at school now so that was nice.
3. Favorite aspect of your appearance. Um, my hair, I think. I also like my eyes. I think my face in general is nice. I like my height as well (I'm 5'9"). I dunno, this is weird. I don't want to sound snobby. But I'm comfortable with my body & my appearance & I like myself in general.
4. Favorite youtube video? (include the link) The Comic Relief sketch that David Tennant & Catherine Tate did where David was the Scottish English teacher & Catherine was the insolent student. "Did you park the TARDIS on a meter?"
5. If you could meet one celebrity, who would it be? Oooh, hard choice. Can I do a top 3? Either David Tennant, Tom Hiddleston, or Benedict Cumberbatch. They all seem like genuinely lovely, nice, funny people. And they are all ridiculously handsome. That's not the main reason, though, just an added bonus. :)
6. Favorite restaurant and why? Anywhere with good steak. I love a good well-done steak & mashed potatoes. There's a place I ate at in Amarillo, Texas with my dad this spring called Hoffbrau Steaks (there are others in Texas) that was amazing.
I'm also a big fan of Five Guys burgers. And good Mexican food, preferably in places where the majority of the population is Mexican. I've driven from Idaho to Alabama several times over the past 5 years with my dad (going to and from college) & we always try to find some Mexican food while we're going through New Mexico.
7. Best pun? I don't know... I'm terrible with jokes & I can never remember any. Sorry.
8. Favorite book? Sorry, I can't pick just one. I'm terrible at picking favorites. Les Miserables. The Harry Potter series. Persausion and Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen. Jane Eyre.
9. Tell me about yourself. My name is Abbey, not Abigail, and I was named after the Beatles album. I'm 23 years old. I grew up in Alabama and I don't naturally have much of a Southern accent, but I can pretend pretty darn well. I'm a Mormon. I'm majoring in humanities at BYU-Idaho. I like to quilt and cross-stitch and decorate t-shirts. If I could get away with it I would spend all my time reading, watching tv & movies, & sewing. I've been to 8 foreign countries (England, Ireland, Wales, Scotland, France, Italy, Austria, & Spain) & I really want to go back to Europe. I graduate (hopefully) in December. I like the idea of cooking but I hate cooking alone so I usually have crap eating habits when I'm at school. I love to dance. I really want to get married & be a stay-at-home mom. I'm terrified of clowns. Doctor Who is my favorite thing ever. I wanted to be a Disney princess until I was like 21. I've never tasted alcohol. I have asthma. I often get homesick for my daddy's hugs. I chose humanities as my major after writing a paper on Star Wars for a required entry-level humanities class. I bite my fingernails. & I'm kind of terrified of life after college.
10. Story behind your url. "Fetch me out that doodle-doo" is a quote from Peter Pan. Peter is hiding in Hook's cabin on the Jolly Roger & crows after killing one of the crew, & Hook orders one of the other crewmen to "fetch me out that doodle-doo." The 1960 version of Peter Pan starring Mary Martin was my favorite movie growing up & I probably watched it hundreds of times.
11. Tell me a story from your childhood! I took dance classes starting at age 3 until I was 13. I remember when I was about 5 years old having some routine (tap, maybe?) that involved being in a little cow costume that was a black leotard with white spots & a little rope tail sewn on. For the life of me I can't remember why we were dressed as cows. Anyway, part of the routine had us get in a circle and go around dancing, and since the class was made up of a bunch of 5 year olds we weren't terribly well-organized and during the recital we totally messed up that part. The audience (made up mostly of our parents) laughed at us because we were 5 and cute, but I remember thinking (along with the rest of the class) that they were laughing at us because we messed up. I don't know what it says about me that the story that first comes to mind is one that focuses on me feeling embarrassed in public.

Ummm, not to sound like an uber paranoid nosy mother or anything, but it may not be the best idea to have your address posted so publicly, even on tumblr. Sorry if it sounds like I’m getting all up in your business, just trying to look out for you.
It's all good :) I thought about that before hand but it's not my address. The google maps guy got the numbers wayyyy wrong. It's my street but that street is also a old highway, so there are a couple thousand people who live in Lewis River Road. I had to scroll down the street to find my driveway.
