Hi
Does anybody know what kind of animal this is supposed to be
Nasty thang
Whadda hell...
I shouldn't have talked about my problems with the Witcher, because now I'm itching to replay Assassins of Kings.
Maybe I can do a run-through for the screencaps and reach a more coherent argument against it other than "arghhhh it's racist and sexist aghhhh butts"
Because, like. I don't think CD Projekt Red is trash. The writing, aside from what is it saying, is really flowing and beautiful, particularly with some of the elven dialogue. I think the series has been given a lot more credit for choices mattering than is actually the case, but there's some interesting ones. And AoK is a beautiful game. Like, it's gorgeous. The attention to detail, from the environments to the fucking clothes (don't get me started on the clothes actually being distinct and rich and beautiful, jfc), is really refreshing. I can tell what series I'm looking at immediately, from any screenshot.
Plus, they're going to put out that Cyberpunk 2077 game, which seems promising.
They just need to branch out beyond The Witcher. I don't know who they've hired, but if they have a diverse workplace it hasn't shown itself yet, and it's going to need to for Cyberpunk 2077. I'm hoping they'll rise above my expectations.
I don't know anything about They, other than I'm pretty sure it's gonna get scrapped.
