Open RP - How'd it get so far?

Katie wasn't even sure when it started. Or why she never told anyone about it. She knew there were people who cared about her, she had a loving family, and they would do anything to protect her, yet here she was. It was her fault, she was the one who let it get this far. Maybe she should've told her dad the first time it happened, or broken it off, or done something instead of just sitting there and taking it. Or maybe this would still be happening even if she told someone, this is what she deserved wasn't it? That's what Chris always said, that all of this was her fault, everything that happened was her fault. And it wasn't like it was all bad, Chris loved her, he made her happy. She just needs to do better. That's all. They've been together for 8 months now and she's happy. So what if she has to hide some bruises from everyone. It's not that big of a deal. She'll do better and then this won't happen. Katie just sighs to herself as she finishes hiding the bruise on her cheek with make up.

Open RP - Ghost au

Trigger Warnings - Implied Su*cide, death, paranormal activity

Katie had been trying, she truly had. Trying to be better, trying to do better, but it had been hard. No matter what she did, it never felt like enough. She tried to ignore the thoughts in her head yet that didn't work. Some part of her knew that she should get help, but she couldn't bring herself to tell anyone. Everyone would worry and panic and she didn't want to be any more of a burden than she already was. She told herself that she'll be fine, and she can handle this herself. Everything will be ok. But one day the thoughts won and whatever thread that was keeping Katie together snapped.

She wasn't sure what happened after her eyes closed. There are flashes of screams, and crying but it's all just a jumbled mess. When she finally became fully aware of her surroundings she had no idea what was happening. She was floating, and her body didn't feel like her own. She was still in the tower, in her own room, she could recognize that, but she couldn't recognize herself. Dead, dead, fuck she was dead. It worked, but not really, because she was still here, still feeling. She had no idea how long it's been since everything happened but before Katie could come to terms with what was happening the door to her room opened and someone walked in.

Open RP - Car Accident

Katie woke up to a pounding in her head, and a ringing in her ear. She wasn't sure where she was, all she remembered was going on a drive to clear her mind, then nothing.

Katie slowly opens her eyes and takes in her surroundings. Her car's completely totaled, the front crumpled in. She tries to move around but pain spikes her throughout her body. She doesn't remember what exactly happened or how she got here but she knows she needs to get out of here.

Open RP - Grocery Trip

//So, I was forced to confront the fact I had no fluffy starters for Katie, so here it is.

Katie's in the kitchen scourging through everything to find anything to eat, but apparently they had no food.

"How is this possible? We're in the Avengers Tower, why do we have no food? I'm starving." Katie looks over to the person she's with.

"Do you wanna go grocery shopping, we really need more food."

OPEN RP - Overworked

Katie is up in her personal lab working on an assignment for one of her classes. She usually doesn't use her personal lab, as she prefers working in her dad's lab to have company, but she does use it when she has a lot of studying or work to do like now. Katie has been up for she doesn't even know how long. She has midterms coming up, a lab report due, a term paper due for her business class, as well as 3 other assignments she needs to finish. On top of that, she is also working on a project for SI which is due soon, so she needs to finish that as well. So overall Katie has no time to do anything else, even though her head hurts, and she's exhausted there's no time to rest, there's just wayy to much going on.

Open RP - Living in a Nightmare

One week, that was how long it had taken her family to find her after she'd gotten kidnapped. One week of sitting alone in that cold, dark room. Though it had felt like she had been there forever. Time started to lose meaning, when you're all alone with no human contact. It wasn't the worst experience as far as kidnappings go, it definitely could have gone worse. They didn't torture her, or hit her just for the sake of it, or ask her about confidential information that she couldn't tell them. For the most part they left her alone. After all Katie had just been a means to an end, just a pawn to get to her dad. It was truly not that bad. Sure they only gave her one lousy sandwich and 2 bottles of water in the entire time they had kept her prisoner. Sure as the days passed she thought she was going crazy because she had no human contact while she was there, not even with her kidnappers, but it wasn't that bad. It could've been so much worse. But it wasn't. She was fine. At least that's what she told herself as she stood frozen in the kitchen at 2 am, because the water dripping from the faucet reminded her of the water dripping from the cracked ceiling of her worst nightmare.

Open RP - Kidnapping

tw- kidnapping, torture, experimentation

Everything is a blur. Katie isn't sure what is happening or what had already happened. There's bits and pieces that she can remember, but mostly all she knows is pain. Everything hurts, every breath, every movement. The pain consumes her entire being, it feels like nothing had ever existed before it and nothing will ever exist after it.

Here, lying on the floor, she can finally breathe as she tries to take reprise from the constant pain, from the dreaded chair when every cell in her body screams at her. She tries to forget about each time they inject her with whatever bullshit they can come up with and all she can do is scream.

She can barely imagine the party she was at before the hydra agents ripped her away from everything, even herself. She can barley even imagine her family and even their blurry figures seem to be slipping away from every time the door to her tiny cell opens. She isn't even sure if they are real anymore or just a figment of her imagination she made to comfort herself, but she clings onto whatever comfort they can provide her.

Open RP - Oops?

Katie was in her dad's lab working on a new flight stabilizer for the iron man suit, when she might have, kinda, slightly miscalculated the energy output needed. Which maybe, kinda sent her flying back into the wall. Which is how she got here, leaning against the wall, pain blooming through her entire body, and the flight stabilizer smoking where she dropped it near the work table.

"Owww, FRI next time remind me to double check my math." Katie groans in pain when she hears the lab door opening.
