My favorite thing about Katio Kid is how extra he is. Like he could be an old fashion thief and just steal things but, no he has to give the police a notice. A fucking riddle one at that too sometimes, or he make it seem like a riddle but he literally will do what it says. Like he made it look like he was walking in the air for shits and giggles so he could steal the jewel. Dude just fucking steal it don't go through hoops for it Jesus Christ

Holy Shit I just watched the 8th Detective Conan movie: Magician of the Silver Sky and damn. I have some thoughts.

*Spoilers ahead*

(In no particular order)

-Kid trying to be Shinichi but honestly no one is buying it because he’s acting like himself without the magic tricks

-the movie points out everyone who currently knows Conan’s identity and the only one missing from the rest of the film is Hattori Heiji

-someday Hattori and Kid will be allowed to be more than cameos for each other’s stories, but that day was not today

-why the fuck would a gem have those three scratches in it?

-I am still stunned they never got back to the fact that the cast party only had the star actors

-honestly I would never work with them again if I found out the core wasn’t invited to the cast party, and I’d bet I’m not the only one

-man that stuff with the poison made me paranoid to touch anything.

-maybe I missed it, but when exactly does Kid find out about Shinichi/Conan’s identity?

-I got really nervous when Ran and then Sonoko we’re getting fatigued, I forgot the pilot and co pilot wore gloves and was worried the steering apparatus had poison on it.

-Kid’s cocky ass jump out of the plane and then poof.

-seriously where’s that gif

-Sonoko and Ran being badasses who literally LANDED A PLANE. IM SO PROUD.

-and then they pass out and I’m like, accurate.

-Ran thinking she told Kid that she likes Shinichi when she actually told Conan/Shinichi hurts my heart.

-also Shinichi just... goes along with it? Like he doesn’t even acknowledge to himself that “damn Ran likes me”

-honestly everything with Kaito and the detective boys was so precious

-and really smart too, giving them a small but important job was the best thing to do in that situation

-Kid is (unsurprisingly) much better with kids than Shinichi is

-there was a lot more destruction than I was expecting, with them taking out a tower and then some cop cars during their crash

-and let’s be honest, that was a crash

-“any landing in which the plane can not take off again” well they’re out of fuel, missing and engine, and they took out a fucking crane so...

-Kid purposefully revealing himself to Ran at the end for seemingly no reason?

-actually I’m betting his reason was something along the lines of “see I had your back. you all had no faith, jerks.”
