seven months. we have been talking for seven months. you have put up with my bullshit while handing over your own. after seven months i have (as i would like to believe) let down my walls around you. you have become one of my best friends, one of my favorite people, someone whose name pops on my phone and instantly puts a smile on my face for the rest of the day. i don’t know how it happened, especially since i tried to fight it, but i have, in a way, fallen in love with who you are. we met in person and immediately i felt comfortable. you have done something few have managed: you make me feel safe. you make me happy. you make life worth it. i am so grateful that you have wandered into my life. i am grateful for the bond we have. i am grateful for you.
