A review for Opposition by @jennifer_l_armentrout . Just finished reading Opposition..... Aaaaaaahhhhhhh so many emotions! When the luxan came Katy's world completely flipped. Daemon, Dawson and Dee left with them and now the luxan were gunning for world domination by killing every single human and hybrid. When the triplets left they were drawn to the luxan because of their connection. All the luxan were connected to each other, all their thoughts, ideals, wants and needs were one. Even their hatred for mankind and hybrids. Thankfully Daemon and Dawson were not that much connected to them because they had mutated humans and were joined to them. Both of them had to pretend that they were all in on the plan to take over the planet and had to conform to their ways while they were with them. Dee, however, was susceptible to their wants and demands. She changed into a completely different person. Her personality change was so difficult and painful to experience. The whole world was crumbling to pieces around them, people were killed and assimilated, cities were taken control of, it was a total alien invasion. The DOD played an important role in helping Katy and Daemon and Archer to save the world. They also had to make an unlikely ally who fought the luxan and helped drive them away. In the end the motive for all the destruction and chaos was revenge, plain and simple revenge. I did feel sorry for the perticular origin who was out get revenge on all of mankind. The book, the series was so addictive, vivid characters, immersive story telling and a beautiful world. There were so many twist and heartbreaks in this final book, this series. 5 books, 2 novellas, 2 forbidden love stories, 4 different species, 13 shocking and amazing deaths and so much more. A review for Obsidian by @jennifer_l_armentrout . . Well I'm totally hooked. I know it's just the first book in the series but I feel that this is the best I've read so far by Jennifer I Armentrout. I just couldn't put the kindle down. Katy our female protagonist is 17 years old, who just moved to West Virginia from Florida with her mother. She is a bibliophile and she has a blog about the books she reads and reviews them. Most of us bookworms can easily related to her. After a few days her mom asks her to try and befriend their neighbours and she does. Enter Daemon Black... He is described as Tall, dark, gorgeous, arrogant, frustrating and a total jerk. So from here the bickering and quibbling starts and it is so fun. I cannot talk enough about their chemistry, it's so intense that it feels like it has a physical form. But Daemon is so much more than just a bad boy, he has a huge secret. Katy soon discovers the secret and her life is threatened. Daemon's twin sister Dee and Katy immediately become bffs and she's Daemon's polar opposite. She's bubbly, energetic, fun and easily loveable. Being a human in a paranormal world, she holds her ground very well and actually risking her life to protect Dee and Daemon, who are almost indestructible, is admirable. The way Jennifer has written this book, it is so simple, easy flowed, starting from the quirky banter to the action packed fighting, then the little hints of mystery and humour; it's just immensely enjoyable. If you do read this series please read Oblivion, which is Obsidian from Daemon's POV. It's really amazing and fun.
