These are sources explaining all the great neighborhoods of Milwaukee.
I was unable to found any real statistics on weather or not people explore into other areas, but I think I can make that assumption just from living in Milwaukee and seeing the segregation patterns.

^I like this site because it give rough parameters of where the neighboods are, and explains the average cost of a house in that area along with the median age, population, average income and some history.

^this site is a useful crime mapping tool. I would consider having this feature linked somehow to my neighborhood exploration guide. I feel like sometimes people think areas are worse than they really are, so this could be enlightening. I also feel like people should know if an area is legitimately not safe to explore.

Rough Concept/Word List
Milwaukee is a city with many communities, each with their own distinctive personas. I think its a shame that many people don't know about other communities and don't explore outside their immediate area.
To get people to explore the Milwaukee community I propose making an app/website that provides people the information they need to understand their surroundings and know what events are occurring in each community.
I believe that if people began pushing the boundaries of where they are comfortable going, eventually the community will expand and become more social which ultimately may lead to a less segregated city.
