Be honest Erik is definitely that kind of dad who would go from ‘no you can’t keep that ghastly god-forsaken stinky creature here in this house it’s atrocious it makes me sneeze like mad’ the first time he saw the kitten Peter brought back home to ‘omg he’s so lovely here sleep on your warm tiny bed I’ve made for you oh what you prefer my chest? It’s cool then I guess. Don’t worry make yourself at home I’ll try to hold my breath for as long as possible in case my rasping breath might alert you’ after one week of being together don’t try to convince me the other way round.

The name ‘Katzie’ is derived from ‘Katze’. The German word for cat. So basically Peter just named his cat ‘cat’.🤣
