I always thought so. like i truly think johnny is a bigger gym rat than simon. like he’s the one with specific meal planning and protein tracking and has a designated calendar for his workouts while simons more…

food. simon is always characterized as a bullet collar worker, a tradesmen kind of strong. like he eats. LIKE EATS. double portions, snacking.. might be because of stress or he’s just always hungry.

i don’t see simon as the type to regularly go to the gym but i see him as the guy who does chores around base, stocking this, moving that, and it takes more than just muscle mass, he just needs mass period.

johnnys vain, he works out for looks. and also because he’s shorter than simon that it makes him look small, but he really isn’t. simons taller, has more fat, and so his gear in return is also huge on him.

that’s just my headcanon tho, idk what the canon is, i’m just a girl 😛

LOL compared to the other asks i was getting, this is a solid headcanon. nothing weird /srs.

i don’t think he has a big anything tbh. like muscle wise, he’s not bulky or big, he’s just strong. like hes an above average military guy when it comes to muscle mass and fat ratio.
