The #Kaufring is one of the last #departmentstores in Munich, and one of the smallest. Hard enough in times of internet trade. It offers everything that the residents of the #neighbourhood need for their everyday life. Books and stationery in the basement, fashion, stockings, caps on the ground floor, underwear for ladies, gentlemen and children on the first floor, household goods on the upper floor. And #humanity is at the centre of it all. Only two managing directors in 40 years, #friendly employees, some of whom have been working here for decades and who know their customers by name. The Kaufring is our department store! This photo makes me all the sadder. "These shop windows are not important at the moment. There is nothing to look at! Stay at home!" It will be very difficult for the Kaufring to #survive this crisis.
